This year, Mortiz Chevrolet is happy to offer the new IMSA GTLM Championship C8.R Edition. This appearance package is available only in 3LT trim models equipped with the Z51 Performance Package.

Designed to celebrate a successful IMSA GTLM season in 2020, it adds your choice of Accelerate Yellow or Hypersonic Gray exterior paint, complimented by yellow brake calipers, a unique spoiler, plus package-specific wheels and badging.

2022 Chevrolet Corvette Performance

For generations, the Chevy Corvette drove its rear wheels via a front engine. The advantage of the current mid-engine layout is that it shifts the weight over the vehicle’s rear wheels, vastly improving traction, stability, and handling in the process.

There’s only one engine on offer — a robust 6.2-liter V8 — but it’s available in two different states of tune, dictated by the exhaust system. The standard system lays down 490 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

The optional Z51 package swaps in a performance exhaust that affords five more horsepower, while also adding a limited-slip electronic differential, and performance tires on upgraded suspension. The adaptive dampers are standard in this package but are otherwise optional.

Each of the three 2022 Chevy Corvette trims comes with either a cloth top or removable hardtop. From there, included features vary:

  • In the Chevrolet Corvette 1LT, the driver and passenger both get eight-way power seats. There’s also wireless smartphone mirroring via Android Autoâ„¢ and Apple CarPlay®, pushbutton start, a customizable digital instrument cluster, and a ten-speaker Bose audio system.
  • The Chevrolet Corvette 2LT offers navigation, a heads-up display, a rear camera mirror, blind spot monitoring, heated steering wheel, and a performance data recorder.
  • The Chevrolet Corvette 3LT adds GT sport seats, plus leather and suede interior options.
