I left the truck at 7:00 on Thursday and heard nothing from the service department on the status until I called after 12:00 on Friday. I was issued a loaner later on Friday after it was determined my truck would not be ready until the following week.
I also feel the diagnostics of 'high resistance' could have been corrected by properly cleaning the battery harness connections instead of replacing them. I have an extensive electrical/electronic background and most 'high resistance' measurements are caused by poor connections between harness lugs and mating surfaces. I ask for the harness cable and it is obvious to me there was NO attempt to clean or re-prep battery terminals, especially ground lug that has obvious surface contamination. This was most likely the root cause of the high resistance measurement.
When picking up my vehicle, I asked the woman at the counter could I please check my vehicle out before signing the paperwork. She was very annoyed by this, rolled her eyes, huffed and puffed, and gave a negative comment about it. I don't seem to understand what the big deal was, it wasn't hurting her for me to check out my vehicle before signing off. It was completely uncalled for, no customer service skills what so ever.
Walter, we appreciate your kind words. The entire team at Moritz Chevrolet thanks you! Reviews like yours help us to make sure that we're meeting the needs of our customers and we're glad to hear that you were pleased with your visit. We look forward to seeing you in the future!
If I am being charged a deductible from my warranty it should be in your system as such and not one of your employees typing that charge in as a note on the transaction. Still not sure if I actually have a deductible or if they just made that up. Your financing department and service department should be more connected. I purchased a warranty and none of the service people could tell me what specifically it covers or any information about it. Not a very efficient system you guys have.
Overall, it was positive. However, I requested they did not adjust my tire pressure and upon driving away, I saw they reduced tire pressure by 2lbs. Was not happy about that as I will then have to manually adjust. Price for the oil change was reasonable, but I also had the windshield wiper blades replaced which was excessive at almost $50!
Connie, in the service department, did a excellent job taking care of me. This was my second visit to the service department and both times I was treated with respect and my vehicle was serviced properly.

I thought the salesperson was one of the best I have ever dealt with. The finance guy was great, we typically do not buy the products but we bought 2. The dealership experience was an overall 10 Plus !
